Grayson Goldfish

Grayson the Golden Child

Grayson's musical talent may have gotten him into the Atlantic Conservatory of the Arts but that doesn't take away from the fact that his family has been messy since he was just a little fry*. Almost immediately following his birth, his mother's illustrious affair with her birthing coach became public after his father, a journalist, published a letter in The Coral Reef Times exposing her cheating and lies. He then abandoned the family never to return and leaving his son to develop daddy issues before he could even swim. Unfortunately, that was not the only thing Grayson would be stuck with though as just a few weeks later his half brother Jason was born.

Since the two fish siblings were so close in age they did pretty much everything together, much to Grayson's dismay. Following the public shaming, his mother headed into a downward spiral and essentially forced her first born son to care for her second while she tried to erase her memory at the local dive bar, Dead Zone. Once they were old enough to form memories Alexis Goldfish spent very little time with her children, aside from giving them a few seashells a day for lunch. Everytime she saw them she was reminded too much of her former lovers, both of which left her after the Irish twins arrived.

Even though all this hardship, Grayson managed to exceed in school and land a scholarship to the most prestigious vocal performance program in the entire ocean. He discovered his love for singing after playing William Bloom in his middle school’s production of Big Fish jr. Most of the time he sings tenor as he was blessed with the range of an angel, however he’s just been informed that the fall show is going to be Jekyll and Hyde, a role he has been wanting to play since he was diagnosed bipolar, so to prepare for auditions he’s been singing baritone.
